the tomb of Michelangelo

Here is the tomb of Michelangelo, inside the Basilica of Santa Croce. I admired all of the tombs of the famous people, but especially liked the way the painting on Michelangelo's tomb lit it up.

I have one last morning to wander around in Florence, then am back to Rome for the night before catching my plane on Wednesday. I will be staying overnight at JR's apartment (that's Joahnna's brother) so have a chance for one last good Italian meal before I go.
