Last night we checked out the accommodations at the Clown Motel in Tonopah, Nevada. I couldn't resist the name, especially when the reviews talked about how clean it was and what a bargain compared to others in town. It pretty much lived up to the reviews. The facilities are old and a bit tired, but the rooms were spacious and clean, and everything worked, including the Internet. The room even had a refrigerator and a microwave--all for the bargain price of $39 including tax! Hard to beat!
We are up early to go get breakfast at the Ramada Inn, apparently the only place in town to do so (the bargain price at our motel does not include breakfast), and the. We are off on our final leg to Sacramento.
