Back to the U.S.A.

Yesterday we crossed the border back into the United States, doing it by phone thanks to our Nexus cards. What a convenience not to have to go into a customs dock!

We stayed last night at the Lopez Islander Resort dock, where we managed to grab the reciprocal slip for the Lopez Island Yacht club, so moorage is free. We spent a very nice evening with friends Fritz Levy and Nancy Taylor at their cabin. Thats the same cabin we used for a week last year when our engine broke and we couldn't leave when we planned. This year fortunately there have been no emergencies. I'm crossing my fingers that it stays that way for two more days.
