I was reminded this morning that I hadn't posted any pictures of my new (and FIRST) grandchild on my blog. So here goes.
Lucian Townsend Hutchison was born in Santa Clara on July 8, 2011, weighing in at a healthy 8 and 3/4 lbs. I was able to go down and spend the "first week at home" with Joahnna, Guy and Luc, keeping the food coming while they dealt with trying to get nursing going, changing lots of diapers, very little sleep, and learning to read Luc's signals.
Here are a couple of pictures from that week. Just one week old, Luc likes to be wrapped tightly in his blanket. Guy holds him in one of the rare moments when he isn't wetting his diapers and clothing or wanting to nurse.
